LETTER FROM A BIRTHMOTHER As each year goes by, more and more of the children, for whom it has been my privilege to assist in the adoption process, are growing up and becoming adults. Some adopted children will be curious and want to contact their birth parents. Others will not. For those that don’t look and those that do and who never find their birthmother, I thought I would pass on the benefit of years of dealing with birthmothers and share the thoughts that she would most likely want to express to her adopted child: D.
