Adoption is where adoptive parents voluntarily take a child as ones own to meet their developmental needs and provide the security necessity for that child to thrive. This is done by legally transferring parental responsibilities from the Birthparents to Adoptive Parents.

Only very special women choose adoption. The fact that a Birthmother decides to give life to her unborn child exhibits a courageous and unselfish act of love.  The Birthmother should be applauded for bringing this precious life into the world. Only those women who love their babies unselfishly, and want the best possible life for them, will consider adoption.

Adoption is an unselfish gift of love from mother to child and, to Adoptive Parents. Words cannot describe the happiness that Birthmothers bring to Adoptive Parents. This precious gift of life is an act of love for which the Adoptive Parents will be forever grateful.

It is common for Birthmothers to experience high points and low points during this time, and too have a number of questions about adoption.
