Chris and Rita

We both have always wanted children and considered having and raising a family as a very natural part of our lives. We also have faith and believe that God has a special plan for us. We believe it is our destiny that we are writing this letter expressing our sincerest thoughts and feelings and you are reading our words. It is our desire and dream to adopt a child, whom we can love, cherish, and nurture and we believe by doing so we are fulfilling our destiny.

We feel that we have all the ingredients of what a healthy and happy relationship should be. We are not only in love with each other, but we are best friends, soul mates, and constants in each other’s lives. We met six years ago in San Diego, where we both have spent much of our lives. We have been happily married for close to four years. As a couple, we have an abundance of love, faith, compassion, trust, loyalty, and respect and we are grateful for all our blessings.

We are very fortunate to be able to maintain two primary residences, one in California and the other in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where Chris has a real estate, development and broker services company. His education, business experience, as well as his multi-lingual skills have provided him the necessary tools to succeed in this venture. We find that living in both locations provides us with wonderful opportunities that we would otherwise not experience. We want to share this with a child and know that this will also provide an opportunity to become bilingual at an early age.

We have a darling little Mini Daschund named Schaetzli, a Swiss German name for “little treasure”. He really is a little treasure and weighs only 9 lbs. He loves EVERYONE and EVERYONE loves him!!!

Chris has an enthusiasm for life that is contagious and people are drawn to him. He is kind and compassionate to everyone and has a healthy, playful sense of humor. He is well liked and respected by all because he treats everyone with dignity and respect. Chris was born in New York, and had the wonderful experience of living in other countries as well as the US, (i.e., Mexico, Switzerland and Hong Kong.) During his time abroad, he traveled to 25 different countries, so he has definitely seen the world. Chris knows the importance of family values and a good upbringing and looks forward to sharing so much with a child, so that he or she can appreciate life as much as Chris has.

Rita was born in Japan, her mother’s home country. Rita was raised in Tustin, California with her five siblings, to all of whom she is very close. Rita knows she can count on her family for anything. Rita was instilled with strong values and a sense of self worth, confidence and compassion and her upbringing was stable and balanced, which is reflected in Rita today. After graduating from college, Rita had a long enjoyable financial career traveling all over the US. Now she spends her time as an interior decorator and jewelry designer and enjoys using her creative talents. Rita is ready to be a full time mom and focus on loving and raising a child.

We enjoy our beautiful surroundings and appreciate the simplicity of staying home. We enjoy traveling, art, books, music, and sports and appreciate our friends and family. We “check-in” with each other at different times during the day if we are apart….simply to say “hi”. We ask each other questions and for advice, we listen to each other, we often tell each other “I LOVE YOU” and ALWAYS kiss when we say “goodbye”. We love to laugh, aren’t afraid to cry, pray and have faith, and love and appreciate each other!

Our vision for a family is to share our many blessings with a child that we can help nurture into a happy, healthy and loving individual.
